I have finally found my holy grail lip liners! Yes I have been on the hunt to find that perfect mauve nude lip liner that can both be worn alone or with a lipstick on top. My top two favorites would have to be Charlotte Tillbury Pillowtalk and Laura Mercier Plumberry. Although they are both slightly different they leave a beautiful finish on the lip. They are very creamy and extremely long lasting. One great bonus is Laura Mercier includes a pencil sharpener with all of her lip liners. Definitely a nice touch.

Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week. I must say…its been amazing to be back up and back on schedule. I thought a fun recap would be a great way to wrap up the week. I have picked 5 of my top summer favs to share with you all.
2. Louis Vuitton Insolite Wallet
*I was so sad to hear that Louis Vuitton was discontinuing their Multicolor line. I knew I had to get my hands on one piece before they went away forever. This wallet has quickly become my favorite long wallet that holds everything I need and more…with staying slim.
4. DryBar Products
*I must say…I was very worried about these products, as some big chain salons don’t make the best products…but this is worth your time. I absolutely love the smell and the overall finished product it provides. If you do not have a DryBar near you…check out your local Sephora.

For years I have strolled right past this store in my local mall. I never really paid much attention to it as I always figured it was another sephoraesque store. Lord knows I dont need one more store to be obsessed with! Well let me tell you how absolutely wrong I was. This is like sephora/nordstrom beauty but better. I have always been a no makeup look but better kind of gal. This store was basically made for me. It has all the brands we love, Nars, Trish Mcevoy, Laura Mercier, Sara Happ, and includes a spa where they do facials and massages. Why didn’t I become obsessed with this place earlier? Blue Mercury focuses on skincare, hair care, and bath and body. It’s truly worth checking out if they are in your area. If they are not local to you, you should definitely check out their website here. It’s the perfect boutique experience with all the brands we know and love. What could be better?
Have you ever shopped Blue Mercury?

2. GlamGlow Flashmud Brightening Treatment
Can be purchased here!
3. Too Faced Melted Long Wear Lipstick
Can be purchased here!
4. Prada Candy Kiss Florale

Washing my hair everyday is too damaging for my hair…and I can get away with it by using my DryBar Detox Dry Shampoo on my non wash days! This product not only smells amazing but works incredibly well! This dry shampoo absorbs the oil, adds volume, and leaves your hair feeling clean all day. Don’t be alarmed by the faint white tint it leaves after you spray it on…this dissipates after you brush the product through your hair. This is definitely a must have in my hair care routine.
Do you have a dry shampoo you can’t live without?
For years I have been a huge fan of Dior cosmetics. Designers going into the cosmetic world is always risky especially with the price point that they are. Dior is one of those brands that has yet to let me down. I have tried just about every type of product from Dior such as BB cream to blush to highlighters and even mascara…however for some odd reason I never thought about picking up a lip gloss until recently. What I was waiting for I have no idea because these lip glosses are fantastic. The formula is amazing…comfortable and not sticky on the lips, not scented (huge plus) and very long lasting. For someone who is not a huge fan of having anything but lip balm on their lips…this is a huge hit! I also adore the color…#363 Dormeuse. And the packaging is gorgeous! Let’s be honest…what girl doesn’t love a beautifully package beauty product!!!

It seems that people have a mixed feeling on returning beauty products if they are not in love with them. I however only buy my beauty products from stores that have a generous return policy. If I am willing to invest money in a product and am not in love with it you can guarantee its going back. Thankfully Sephora and Nordstrom offer an amazing return policy. These businesses understand that you may not love a product and want you to be happy with your purchase. I truly believe that when someone is happy with their purchase you can guarantee they will be back time and time again.

Funny enough I am not a huge fan of creme blushes. I don’t know why honestly…since I love the look of dewy and plump skin. During one of my trips to Sephora I was gifted this Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee. I was not thrilled with it upon first glance/inspection and stored in away in my stash of samples. Over this past weekend I thought I would give it a try on top of my Chanel cc cream. Needless to say I am on my third day of wearing it and love it! I have been applying this gel product with my hands and that seems to work wonders. It blends nicely into the skin and lasts all day! The color looks a bit scary in the jar but not to worry it’s a beautiful flush tone pink. Josie Maran offers a pretty good selection of colors if pink is not your thing. I definitely wouldn’t be against picking up another color in the future.

When this first hit the market it was hot! Sephora couldn’t keep it stocked and people wanted anything with Argan oil they could get their hands on. I was very hesitant even though my skin is dry I still worry about having a greasy feel to my skin. Over the years I have loved and hated this product…depending on the season and how my skin was feeling at that particular moment. I realized after being in extremely hot and dry climate recently that my skin absolutely needs an oil such as this to lock the moisture in. Since I live in a relatively damp climate this becomes too much for my skin to handle. Don’t get me wrong if your skin is dry and in need of intense moisture this is for you…or if you live in a hot and dry climate. If you are oily or live in a damp climate…stay far away.

I don’t know about you ladies but taking my makeup off at the end of the day always seems like a way bigger task than it really is. Years ago I discovered the Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil. This literally changed everything for me. In one pump you can miraculously see your makeup melt away. It’s incredibly gentle, lightly scented and leaves your face feeling refreshed. Boscia isn’t the cheapest of brands but to me something that makes your life that much easier is worth it. If your still on the fence about trying this out check out Sephora’s sample size here! Trust me…you will fall head over heels!
