I am the first one in line to always wear the same neutral colors all the time…black…white…brown…gray…and sometimes pink. Its funny those colors seem to be the only colors I wear. This summer I decided to step out of my comfort zone a bit and try and add some more color to my wardrobe. Trust me it hasn’t been easy! I have discovered that adding a small pop of color to any outfit has been the answer for me. Whether it might be…a different colored pant, shirt, jacket, or accessories…it really seems to do the trick. I love how summery your outfit becomes…without going too crazy with color.

I have always been a huge fan of Bobbi Brown…and not just her beauty products but her whole brand. She is a true lover beauty and making every woman feel and look her best.
I was totally excited about picking up this beautiful blush in Desert Pink a few weeks back. It is a perfect transition color from Winter to Spring and a gives the perfect splash of color to your cheeks. I have been enjoying this blush over my cc cream and a little mascara. I am thoroughly impressed with the blush as it is finely milled, has great color payoff, and provides a long-lasting color. I also think it is fairly priced.
Have you ever tried Bobbi Brown’s Blush?
I am a sucker for anything you can design yourself or personalized. When I first heard about Nike ID…I thought…how cool is it that you can design your own shoe and pick all your own colors?! I contemplated going through the Nike ID process for so long…until I finally bit the bullet. Now let me say you must have patience. I have none…so this is why I am warning you now. The process itself takes almost two months. I went back and forth for a few days until I decided on the best combo for me. As you can see in the above picture…I wanted bright colors and something unique. I have had these shoes now for almost 2 years and must say they are the most comfortable and durable shoes I own. I absolutely love the colors (that still glow to this day) and the way these shoes fit. If you have been thinking about going through this process…I highly suggest it. Just don’t stand by the door waiting for the shoes haha.

If I could paint the world pink I would…so why not “paint” my cheeks pink everyday?! I say yes! I heart blush. I think blush makes your face come alive and adds a nice pop of color to your skin. My all time favorite blush has to be Givenchy Le Prisme in 24 It Girl. No the picture above does not do it justice (apologize for the blended look of colors) but I could not leave it out of this post. However some of my other favorites are MAC Summer Rose, Nars Mata Hari, MAC Tippy, and Tarte exposed. As you can see I have a small obsession with Pink (all shades) but I also love neutral cheek colors.
