Normally I stick to Chanel or Louis Vuitton when it comes to handbags…however the PS1 medium has been in the back of my mind for quite some time. Proenza Schouler was recently running their end of summer sale and I knew the deal was too good to be true. This bag is amazing. It has more compartments and zippers than any organizational lover could ever dream of. I love how easy it is to carry and how attractive the bag is. The leather is also butter soft…which for some people could be a downside since it will get a worn look over time. Overall if you are thinking of purchasing this bag…I highly recommend you do. Would I pay full price for this bag…probably not…but for the sale price…I would do it all over again.

I love a good lip balm…to me its just a must have makeup item to have with you at all times. I have been a huge fan of La Mer’s balm for many many years but didn’t like the packaging as you always had to stick your finger in the balm to apply it. Not the most clean application when on the go. A few months back I was near a Chanel counter and stopped by to check out the Rouge Coco Baume. The Sales Associate was raving about it and said it was very comparable to the La Mer balm. I decided to pick it up and give it a shot. I absolutely adore this coco baume and use it everyday. I do think its wonderful and worth the price tag of $36…but I do not think its better than La Mer. However I will say that this is works amazingly well under and Chanel Lipstick and keeps your lips hydrated and moisturized for hours on end. If you are in the market for a great balm on the go…I highly suggest you give this one a chance!

Q. What is your favorite handbag and why?
A. I would say my absolute favorite handbag would have to be my Chanel jumbo flap. In my current collection…and all the bags I have owned…it is definitely the best all around bag.
Q. Do I baby my handbags?
A. Yes! To me they are investments and I treat them as such.
Q. Do I consider myself a collector?
A. Yes! I would say I have been seriously collecting for about 8 years now.
Q. Can you part with them if I had to?
A. Definitely. As much as I love them…they are not everything to me.
Q. When did I fall in love with handbags?
A. Being a true girly girl…I fell in love with handbags from a very early age. I think one of the main factors I fell in love was because of the feminine touch it adds to any outfit.
Q. What was your first designer handbag?
A. My first designer bag was Dooney and Bourke when I turned 15. It was the beginning of it all.
Q. What was the experience like?
A. It was my first huge purchase I made with my own money I earned from work. Felt amazing!
Q. Why do I think I’m obsessed with handbags?
A. I think for me its about having my perfect collection. Just when you feel you have reached it…another bag comes on the market. Its a never ending battle.
Q. Is there an emotional component?
A. I think so. I hold on to bags that hold sentimental value to me and will never sell them for that purpose. Other than that…if the bag isn’t being used its time to sell.
Q. Do I plan or impulse buy?
A. I rarely impulse buy as I do my research before making purchases etc. Its the impulse buys that sadly dont last long in my collection. Lesson learned over the years.
Q. What is my favorite handbag designer?
A. Chanel without a doubt.
Q. What is my dream bag?
A. A Birkin. I have dreamed of owning that bag since the beginning of my collection. Its just the ultimate handbag in my opinion.
I hope you enjoyed the handbag tag. I tag all of you and ask you leave your responses in the comments!
Besides purses and jewelry…mugs have to be another one of my all time favorite things. I love collecting mugs from places I travel, coffee shops and even vintage shops. I was searching the web for a pillow a few weeks back to add to my work space and came across this Coco Joe mug. I knew it had to be mine. How adorable is it to mix one of my favorite designers with another love of mine mugs. It fits perfectly on my desk as well. The mug is a bit on the smaller size but fits just right in your hand. If you are interested in picking up this mug, I highly suggest you check out Aien Q here. Please let them know I sent you!

I am absolutely in love with this product. I am a huge fan/lover of CC and BB creams. surprisingly even though my skin is fair it is still extremely hard to match my skin tone to a CC or BB cream. I stopped by my local Chanel counter and inquired if they had this CC Cream in stock. I lucked out as it just arrived that day. The nice sales associate asked if I wanted to be matched and quickly went to look for the lightest shade. Even though Chanel doesn’t have a wide range of colors, I was able to just get away with Chanel 20. Chanel 20 mixed with my CC Cream from Giorgio Armani and magically I have the perfect coverage and perfect shade. If you can find a true match with this Chanel CC cream I definitely think its worth the price. Coming in at $55 you want this product to be perfect and worth the money. I truly believe it is.

I have been a long time user of La Mer skin care products. I have sworn by them and think they offer some of the best products on the market. Over the past year or so I have branched out in hopes to find something else that I love just as much. I think I may have found it. Chanel not only offers wonderful and high quality makeup but their skin care line is nothing less than exceptional. I have had the pleasure of testing out their Hydra Beauty line including their micro serum. I have never been into serums before this one. This adds a level of moisture to the skin that no other serum has achieved. I can’t get enough of it. If you could only splurge on one item from their skin care line I would suggest this product. It’s that good.

Spring has sprung! Yay! I love everything about Spring…except allergies. Each season I normally do a switch a roo with my makeup products depending on the season. In honor of Spring…here is a peek inside my makeup bag.
(Makeup Bag: Fendi, CC Cream: Georgio Armani, Concealer: Nars Creamy Concealer, Powder: Chanel Les Beige, Blush: Bobbi Brown, Eyebrow: Anastasia Brown Duo and Brow Wiz and Tweezerman Tweezers, Mascara: Clinique, Lips: Chanel Boy (not pictured), Perfume: Elizabeth and James Rollerball)

I love my skin with a dewy finish. As far back as I can remember that is always how I have preferred my makeup to look. Recently I was introduced to the Chanel Les Beige Healthy Glow Sheer Powder. Now I have not had luck with any powder type product that I have tried in the past…so I was very hesitant to pick this up at my local Nordstrom. I even had the sales associate apply it to my face prior to buying (which is so unlike me). I was sold immediately. This powder is not your typical powder product. It adds a glow unlike any other product I have ever used. It’s so finely milled that it would be incredibly hard for someone to tell you are wearing a powder. If you are on the fence about trying this I am going to give you that push to go check it out. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love dark nails. The darker the better in my opinion. I know that dark and vampy nails are more of a fall/winter thing but let’s be honest you can get away with it all year long. Some of my all time favorite colors would have to be from Chanel. Now before you think this is a beauty topic…they debut these colors on their runways…so it counts as fashion! I think any nail color can make or break an outfit. It also makes you “look” more put together. Okay drumroll please…introducing Chanel Black Velvet, Chanel Black Pearl and Chanel Rouge Noir. These polishes are long lasting and opaque in one – two coats. They are a splurge worth making.

Normally I am a CC cream or BB cream kinda gal but for special occasions I go for a foundation. Over the years I have tried many different brands and wanted to share my top 3 favorite high end foundations. First up Chanel! How can you go wrong with any product by Chanel. The Aqua vitalumiere is smooth and lightweight that provides buildable coverage. This is a great option for someone who doesn’t love a heavier foundation feel. Second…YSL. I love the coverage and look this foundation gives. It’s smooth, radiant and matte. It has medium coverage that lasts all day. This may be my all time favorite. Last but not least Dior. Now I know it says BB cream but I truly believe this provides enough coverage to count as a foundation. I love the dewy finish it leaves on your skin and leaves you glowing through out the day. The only downside to this BB cream is that it only comes in one shade…which unfortunately is too dark for me right now. I guess you can’t win them all!
