I am so torn on how I feel about when books become movies. I am usually disappointed in one of them…most of the time…the movie. Recently the last few books I have read that became movies…I was so disappointed in the film it left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. I have been going back and forth about reading American Sniper as I really want to see the film but think the book may be a better route for me. I was really hoping you all could help…Should I read the book or watch the movie first? I am about to finish my current book (post next week) and want to jump into another great read right away. Thanks for all your help in advance!
Hope you all have a fabulous week!
I can’t believe Christmas is only a few days away. I am really looking forward to spending quality time with my family and enjoying some days off. I normally have a few books lined up…so I am not without…but I have found myself bookless. I can’t believe it! I am hoping you can help me and suggest some great reads while I have some time off. If there is a book you have been loving…please let me know!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was very low key and I was able to accomplish some holiday shopping which was great! Now lets get started!
I love filling my office/blogging space with fashion and beauty books. I not only love reading them but also use them as decor. My newest addition is The Fashion Book Mini. I love love love this book. I have been eyeing the full size version for some time but couldn’t bring myself to spend that kind of money on a “coffee table” book. Maybe one day…but for the time being the mini version is perfect. It is a collection of all designers from around the world including a little biography on them along with a few photographs of their work! I included this in my gift giving guide but definitely thought it deserved its own post. I purchased mine from Amazon here…but I am sure any book store would have both it.
Do you have a favorite fashion book?
In order to be creative, you have to be in a creative space. I have always been a firm believer in this, especially when it came to my work space. When we moved into our home I knew one of the rooms was going to be our home office. For years I neglected it, as I was worried it would encourage me to work more. Since starting my blog I felt compelled to change the room for both creative inspiration and a fun place to write posts. I picked up some unique items to help give the room a more “girly” vibe. I am so happy how it turned out.
Is there one thing in your office or work space you can’t live without?
