This week we are off to visit the Palm Springs Air Museum. Enjoy!
“These are all photos from inside the Palm Springs Air Museum. I was very impressed by the up close and personal experiences you can have here with these very famous fighter planes from World War II and Vietnam. We know the pilot of one of the fighter planes and they had models of the famous battleships and one like my father-in-law was on.
After reading Unbroken that is now a movie, it was interesting to learn more about what happened then.
They even had photos of the Bunker Hill where my father-in-law got the silver star for saving men from a fire that ensued after the battleship was attacked.
They also had an Ansel Adams photography exhibit of the photos of the Japanese internment camps. Someone was also doing paintings from the photographs. It’s truly unbelievable that this happened in our country!”
If you are ever in the Palm Springs area…I highly recommend you check this museum out. Cost of admission is $16.00.
